Bernhard Scholz, born in Müllheim, Germany, is a management consultant and graduated in Political Science with a thesis on “The process of rationalization in Max Weber”. He then worked as a professional journalist and managed the press office of the archdiocese of Freiburg in Breisgau. At the same time, he worked on improving his knowledge of public relations, internal communications, and organizational culture. At the end of the nineties he devoted himself specifically to consultancy and managerial training, working for a consultancy company for multinationals with its headquarters in Milan. Since 2003, he has been manager of the Scuola d’Impresa della Fondazione per la Sussidiarietà, a business school aimed specifically at small businesses. In 2008 he was elected President of Compagnia delle Opere (Companionship of Works), an association of profit and non-profit entrepreneurs and professionals. Bernhard Scholz is married and has three children.
