Volunteers: A message from Riro Maniscalco
Write it down: January 16-18, 2015. The New York Encounter is happening again, with a new, much bigger venue, more events, and - God willing - "a bigger heart". There are many ways to be part of it, many ways to support it but, for sure the happiest people at the NYE are the Volunteers. Why? Because the greatest gift is the gift of the self. That is why the Volunteer is the real face, and the real protagonist of the Encounter. We are all useless servants, and yet we are called to build "Mirabilia Dei", God's wonders. And now it is time to enroll, to give your availability to work at the Encounter. We need a good number of people at 8:00am on Friday, January 16. We want everybody on Monday morning, January 19 to share and judge together what we lived. If you've done it before you know for yourself. If you haven't, "come and see". And spread the good news!
