Luke Burgis
Luke Burgis is a veteran entrepreneur, author, and educator. He is currently the Director of Programs at the Ciocca Center for Principled Entrepreneurship at The Catholic University of America in Washington, DC, where he's also a clinical professor of business. He's the co-author with Dr. Joshua Miller of Unrepeatable: Cultivating the Unique Calling of Every Person, and author of the award-winning book Wanting: The Power of Mimetic Desire in Everyday Life about the ideas of the social theorist René Girard, which has been translated into more than 16 languages. At Catholic University, Luke is the creator of the internationally-recognized program CEDE—the Catholic Entrepreneurship & Design Experience—which has been adopted by dozens of K-12 schools to help cultivate an entrepreneurial spirit in students. He lives in Washington, DC, with his wife Claire.
