Fundraising
There are many ways to help fundraise for the New York Encounter. Below are just a few of the ways that can help raise money and spread the word about the NY Encounter.
Dinners, Cocktail Hours, Concerts, Etc.
The NYE has events for friends, families, and co-workers. These events always include a cultural moment (movie, concert, witness or presentation of the NYE) and are priced less than a formal dinner. Volunteers cook and serve.
Leasing Past Exhibits
The NYE has several past exhibits that can be leased on an individual, corporate, or parish basis. Pricing plans vary based on the length of the lease. Digital copies can also be leased for cultural events (eg. a wine and cheese fundraiser where the exhibits are projected). Copies can also be purchased by organizations with rights and limited restrictions.
Other Activities
Typical fundraising activities such as Car Washes, Bake Sales/BBQs/Food or Drink Sales outside of local parishes.
Sale of Advertising Space
Ads may be placed on the website, on email-blasts, and/or on the program booklets distributed to the participants of the NYE. These are particularly attractive for businesses.
Booth at the Event (25 square feet Modular Panel System)
Please keep in mind that the New York Encounter is a 501(c)(3) organization with tax exempt status. All donations are tax deductible.
