Fr. Ramzi Sidawi
Fr. Ramzi Sidawi, OFM, was born in Jerusalem in 1972. He joined the Order of Friars Minor (The Franciscans) and was ordained priest in 2002. After a year of service in the Basilica of the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem, he was sent to Rome for graduate studies. He completed his studies in Dogmatic Theology, receiving his PhD in 2010. He has served as Pastor of St. Anthony of Padua Parish in Jaffa-Tel Aviv (2010–2013), Principal of the Terra Sancta Boys School in Jerusalem (2013–2016), and General Administrator of the Custody of the Holy Land (2016–2022). During the period 2010–2022, he was a Professor of Dogmatic Theology at the Franciscan Theological School in Jerusalem. Since September 2022, he has been serving as the Guardian of the Franciscan Monastery of the Holy Land in America in Washington, DC.
