Arvo Part is one of the most performed composers of our time. His music is unique in the contemporary world, as it relates to things so profound and universal that it speaks to people of all backgrounds and faiths and crosses boundaries of style and language. The concert title, "Silence is like fertile soil," comes from the composer himself. It describes well Part’s evocative music, which promises to take the audience on a musical journey to the deepest part of themselves.
