Michelle Ratti
Michelle Ratti is a high school science and language teacher at Brookewood School in Kensington, Maryland. She also often teaches Natural History to elementary school students and she is a mother of three boys. She has a passion for discovering the beauty of nature—in the laws of science, in the human body, and in the outdoors. An important aspect of her educational style (as a mother and as a teacher) is taking kids outdoors to go hiking, creeking, camping, tubing, and rock-scrambling. She has experienced that a sense of adventure, a physical challenge, and a chance to marvel at the natural world all go hand in hand. Michelle graduated from University of Notre Dame with a B.S. and received a Master’s degree from Catholic University. She has previously taught at Holy Cross Academy and Oakcrest School.
