The Katrina Letters

Performance Saturday, January 19, 2013, 9:00 pm. In the cleanup of Hurricane Katrina, a New Orleans family discovered 500 letters exchanged by their parents at the time of their courtship during World War II. Ensemble piece for actors, singers with music ranging from Schubert to Tango to Broadway. Open seating. Tickets are $15 and are available online and at the door.

Matthew Kaminski

Matthew Kaminski, editorial board member of The Wall Street JournalMatthew Kaminski is a member of The Wall Street Journal's editorial board in New York, a post he took up in July 2008. For the previous three years, Mr. Kaminski was the editorial page editor of The Wall Street Journal Europe, based in Paris. He joined the Journal in 1997 as a reporter in Brussels and specialized in security issues, Central Europe and the Balkans.

 

Before joining the Journal, Mr. Kaminski reported for the Financial Times and the Economist on the former Soviet Union in 1993-97. He received a bachelor's degree in history from Yale College and a master's degree in international politics from Universit Paris XI.
