On Saturday, January 15th, the 2011 New York Encounter will feature as one of its main events the Storm Theatre production in collaboration with the Black Friars Repertory Theatre of Paul Claudel’s “The Tidings Brought to Mary.”
Last year's performance of The Passion of Joan of Arc was epic and moving. With an introduction by Gene Stavis, this beautiful evening was captured in photos here.
At last year's New York Encounter, we presented a discussion on charity on the occasion of the publication in the U.S. of Msgr. Luigi Giussani's: Is It Possible to Live This Way? Vol. 3: Charity. Photos from the event are available here.
At the 2010 New York Encounter, we offered eyewitness accounts of the largest week-long public cultural Catholic event in the world. The Rimini Meeting for 30 years has sought to create points of contact between experiences and people of different faiths and cultures.
